Introduction to Thunar

Thunar is the Xfce file manager, a GTK+ 2 GUI to organise the files on your computer.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.6 systemd platform.

Installation of Thunar

Install Thunar by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr \
            --sysconfdir=/etc \
            --docdir=/usr/share/doc/Thunar-1.6.3 &&
make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

make install

Command Explanations

--enable-gtk-doc: Use this parameter if GTK-Doc is installed and you wish to rebuild and install the API documentation.
